After a long wait, 72nd and Central will finally return to a favorite venue- The Nick in Birmingham AL. Featured local acts Blood Moon Riot, Sinema, and Bugwhore are joining forces with 72nd and Central to take over the legendary stage at The Nick on 12-16-23.
The Nick is a private club, with a $5 annual membership, but have no doubts- it’s worth it to visit one of the best bars and small music venues in the southeast!

72nd and Central, Fantomex, Safety Coffin & Doc Burner take over the Asheville landmark.
December 1st, 2023- 72nd and Central will appear in Asheville for a performance at Fleetwood’s, with local favorites Fantomex and Safety Coffin, as well as Doc Burner, an artist traveling from Spain.
This marks the second and final 72nd and Central performance in Asheville in 2023.
Show is 12/1/23, 8:00 pm, $10 at the door.

Athens & Savannah – November 2023
72nd and Central returns to Georgia November 17-18, 2023!
72nd and Central are heading back to Georgia this November, for two great shows! First up is Athens, which has always proven to be a great time. Athens bands Getaway Company and Swear Jar will join 72nd and Central at Buvez – a bar-style café with a recent track record of great punk and metal events! Show is Friday 11/17/23, at 8:00 pm. – $10 at the door.
Next on the map is Savannah, Georgia- a new city for 72nd and Central, but one that has always been on the radar. Dream House, a local DIY space, will host 72nd and Central along with Primal Neon Seppuku, Lilakk, and Girlfriend from Hell ! These three local Savannah acts all have a reputation for wild performances, so this is sure to be prime territory for a 72nd and Central show! Show is Saturday, 11/18/23 at 8:00 pm. – $10 at the door. This is also a private space, so please email or DM 72nd and Central, any of the other bands, or the venue for the direct address for this event.
4th Annual ‘Support Local Badassery’!
The fourth annual event will be at Old School Tavern August 10th and 11th.
72nd and Central are excited to announce a performance at the fourth annual ‘Support Local Badassery’ event, presented by Rockerbelles! (Local Badassery Official Site)
Rockerbelles is a “Rocker Chic Boutique” in Upstate S.C. that not only sells awesome clothing and accessories for both women and men, but they are also big supporters of the local music and art scene. Now for the fourth year in a row, Rockerbelles has organized this event that highlights other local small businesses, artists, and performances by bands and musicians. (Rockerbelles Official Site)
72nd and Central will perform on the first day of the two-day event- Friday, August 10th at 7:30 pm on the indoor stage. Other acts throughout the event include Black River Rebels, Cut Throat Suzy, Mydas XII, and Kaph, so make sure to come out and enjoy a great weekend of music and art!
